We are all waiting for the color Kindle 4, read details of the amazing Kindle 4 here and get ready for the latest and greatest Amazon E-book reader. It may even be a Kindle touch release! It now seems that it will not be released until the end of 2011 at the very earliest. Plus in the latest news we are hearing rumors of an Amazon Kindle Tablet especially since we now have the Amazon App Store , we simply don’t know what we will see first!
There has been a lot of speculation about just what it is going to be be like when it is finally released but it does seem that the Amazon Kindle 4 is going to be a color Kindle. But we are going to see no new release until the end of 2011.
Kindle 4 2011 Release Date

From researching it seems that the Kindle 4 release date may be in 2011 but if it is it is going to be near to the end of the year rather than earlier on. With the technology that will allow Amazon to be able to produce a color Kindle already now available there is no doubt that they will release a color model to compete with the massive number of apple iPad alternatives that are going to be released in 2011.

Color tablets are going to be the norm this year but the technology still only allows for a 10 hour or so battery life. With e-book reader technology now able to incorporate color technology there is no way that Amazon is going to miss out on the opportunity to compete in the lucrative tablet market.
But for now, and for probably the rest of the year we will still be able to buy the Kindle 3 for a great low price. Still the best e-book reader on the market by a very large margin, buy the Kindle 3 and upgrade in a year or so once the technology has been tested and the price comes down.
We are all waiting with baited breath for the new color Kindle 4 but it will probably be a year before we see it available.
